In this exhibition, I presented a video installation consisting of two performance videos that address my individual war trauma during my childhood years in Iraq and the fear of reliving those experiences again.
It is the war.
It is the American fighter jets and tanks, the bombing raids,
the rockets and explosions that shook our homes every night.
It is the innocent blood, the physical and psychological damages,
and the shattered childhood.
It is the cold that spread in our bones when, we felt fear.
It is the worries of endless anxiety and uncertainty.
It is the time without peace from which I escaped.
It is the danger that has followed me even here in Europe.
